Śrem Embraces Innovative Waste Management

The "Milionówki" estate in Śrem is the latest in the city to implement the Individual Waste Segregation System by T-MASTER SA – a solution that redefines responsibility, savings, and sustainability in urban areas. To fairly assess the real impact of the pilot system, the city conducted thorough analyses. For instance, from January 1 to April 30, 2023, traditional dumpster areas collected 76% unsorted waste, whereas only 35% of waste in T-MASTER containers was mixed. This indicates an average segregation level of 65% among residents, with some achieving even higher rates.

These results and subsequent positive system use convinced city officials to expand the implementation. New investments are now being made, including at the "Milionówki" estate, along with the installation of the T-Master e-PSZOK247 – an automated municipal waste collection point available 24/7. Residents can now drop off waste at any time without adjusting to traditional center hours.

What is the Individual Waste Segregation System?

T-MASTER SA’s Individual Waste Segregation System (SISO) is a breakthrough in municipal waste management. Drop&Go devices weigh waste and assign it to a household using QR codes on waste bags. This allows residents to track the amount and type of waste they generate. T-Master provides QR stickers assigned to each apartment.
